Title: Biharmonic functions and bi-eigenvalues on Riemannian manifolds
Abstract:
In this talk, we will first review some important applications of biharmonicfinctions which are solutions of bi-Laplace equation. Then we will present somecomputations ofbi-Laplacians on some model spaces which can be used to constructmany examples of proper biharmonic functions in space forms. Finally, we will presentssome recent work on eigenvalues of bi-Laplacian on a sphere.
