Title: Width estimate and doubly warped product

Abstract:

In this talk, I will introduce Gromov’s torical band width estimate for positive scalar curvature. In the setting of positive sectional curvature, Gromov conjectured that the 3-dimensional torical band width estimate can be improved and it is characterized by the doubly warped product model for standard round 3-sphere. We will present a proof based on the µ-bubble method.

朱锦天，本科毕业于北京师范大学，博士毕业于北京大学，导师为史宇光教授；2021-2023年在北京国际数学研究中心从事博士后工作，现为西湖大学理论科学研究院特聘研究员。研究方向为几何分析，研究兴趣主要集中于与数量曲率相关的几何，曾于2022年获中国数学会钟家庆数学奖。
